Setting Video Length

You can specify a time limit for your videos. The Video Length setting is useful if you wish to conserve space in the camera's internal memory or on a card, or if you want all of your videos to be the same length.

  1. Turn the Mode dial to Video , then press the Menu button.

  2. Highlight the Video Length menu , then press the OK button.

  3. Highlight the setting you want to use.

Unlimited (default)—camera records until you stop recording, or until the current storage location is full.

5, 15, or 30 Seconds—camera records for the specified time, or until the current storage location is full.

  4. Press the OK button.

  5. Press the Menu button to turn off the menu screen.

This setting remains until you change it.

NOTE: If the current storage location does not have adequate space, some video length options are not displayed. (See Video Storage Capacity for video storage capacities.)
