Direct printing problems

Status Cause Solution

Cannot locate desired picture.

The Mode dial is set to Favorites.

Turn the Mode dial to Auto.

Camera is accessing a card or internal memory.

Use the Direct print menu to change the image storage location.

The Direct print menu interface turns off.

The menu interface has timed out.

Press any button to redisplay it.

Cannot print pictures.

There is a connection issue.

Ensure that there is a connection between camera and printer (Connecting the camera to the printer).

There is a power issue.

Ensure the printer and camera have power (Connecting the camera to the printer).

Camera or printer display an error message.

There is a camera or printer issue.

Follow the prompts to resolve the issue.
