Direct printing problems

Status Cause Solution

Camera or printer display an error message.

There is a camera or printer issue.

Follow the prompts to resolve the issue. (The camera screen may display error messages for the printer. See the printer user guide, if applicable.)

Cannot locate desired picture.

The Mode dial is set to Favorites.

Turn off the camera, then turn the Mode dial to Auto.

Camera is not accessing the storage location for that picture.

Use the Direct print menu to change the image storage location (internal memory, card, or Favorites).

The Direct print menu interface turns off.

The menu interface has timed out.

Press any button to redisplay it.

Cannot print pictures.

There is a connection issue.

Ensure the connection between camera and printer (Direct printing with a PictBridge printer).

There is a power issue.

Ensure the printer and camera have power (Direct printing with a PictBridge printer).
