5 Troubleshooting

LCD screen messages

If...	Try one or more of the following
No images to display	Change image storage location setting (Customizing your camera).
Memory card requires formatting	Insert a new card (Storing pictures on an SD or MMC card) or format the card (Customizing your camera). Caution: Formatting a card deletes all pictures and videos, including protected files.
Memory card cannot be read (Please format memory card or insert another card)
Only one USB connection allowed. Disconnect cable or rem. (remove) camera from dock.	Unplug the USB cable from the camera.
Internal memory requires formatting	Format the internal memory (Customizing your camera). Caution: Formatting deletes all pictures and videos, including protected files. (Formatting internal memory also deletes email addresses, album names, and Favorites. To restore them, see the Kodak EasyShare software Help.)
Internal memory cannot be read (Please format internal memory)
No memory card (Files not copied)	Insert a card (Storing pictures on an SD or MMC card).
Not enough space to copy files (Files not copied)	Delete pictures from the image storage location you are copying to (Deleting pictures and videos during review), or insert a new card (Storing pictures on an SD or MMC card).
Memory card is locked (Insert new memory card)	Insert a new card (Storing pictures on an SD or MMC card), move the switch on the card to unlock the card, or change the image storage location to internal memory (Customizing your camera).
Read-only memory card. Remove write protection to capture or write to card.
Memory card is unusable (Insert new memory card)	Insert a new card (Storing pictures on an SD or MMC card) or format the card (Customizing your camera). Caution: Formatting a card deletes all pictures and videos, including protected files.
Date and time have been reset	Reset the clock (Setting the language, date/time).
No address book on camera (Connect with computer to import address book)	Create and copy address book from computer. See the Kodak EasyShare software Help.
No album names on camera (Connect with computer to import album names)	Create and copy album names from computer. See the Kodak EasyShare software Help.
High camera temperature. (Camera will be turned off.)	Leave the camera off until it's cool to the touch, then turn it back on. If the message reappears, visit www.kodak.com/go/c643support or www.kodak.com/go/c603support and select Interactive Troubleshooting & Repairs.
Can only mark image with 32 album names. Only the first 32 album names will be saved	Delete one or more album names associated with the image (Tagging pictures/videos for albums).
Unrecognized file format	Transfer the picture to the computer (Transferring pictures with the USB cable), or delete it (Deleting pictures and videos during review).
Camera error #XXXX. See user's guide.	Turn camera off, then back on. If the message reappears, visit www.kodak.com/go/c643support or www.kodak.com/go/c603support and select Interactive Troubleshooting & Repairs.
