1 Doing more with your camera

Mode	Icon	The flash fires
Auto Flash		When the lighting conditions require it.
Off		Never
Fill		Every time you take a picture, regardless of the lighting conditions. In low light, hold the camera steady or use a tripod.
Red Eye		The flash fires once so the eyes become accustomed to the flash, then fires again when the picture is taken.

Zoom position	Flash distance
Wide angle	2–17.4 ft (0.6–5.3 m)
Telephoto	6.6–18.7 ft (2–5.7 m)
