4 Using the menu button

Using the Capture menu

You can change settings to get the best results from your camera.

NOTE: Some modes offer limited settings. Some settings remain until you change them; others, until you change modes or turn off the camera.

  1. Press the Menu button.

  2. Press to highlight a tab. (You may need to press to highlight a tab.)

    • Capture/Video for the most common picture/video-taking settings

    • Setup for other camera settings

  3. Press to highlight a setting, then press OK.

  4. Highlight an option, then press OK. (Some options let you use .)

Press Menu, , , and OK to access settings Capture Options

Picture Size

Choose a picture resolution.

See Camera specifications.

Video Size

Available only in Video mode.

HD (1280 x 720 @ 30 fps)

VGA (640 x 480 @ 30 fps)

QVGA (320 x 240 @ 30 fps)

AF Control (Video)

Choose a focus setting.

Single - camera focuses when the Shutter button is pressed.

Continuous - camera focuses continuously.

Color Mode

Choose color tones for pictures.

High Color

Natural Color

Low Color

Black & White

Sepia

NOTE: KODAK EASYSHARE Software also lets you change a color picture to black-and-white or sepia.

Picture Quality

Choose how much compression is applied to pictures.

Not available in Smart Capture mode.

Fine - least compression; best quality, and largest file size.

Standard - medium compression; medium quality, and medium file size.

Basic - most compression; lowest quality, and smallest file size.

RAW - unprocessed image data in its original state (to which white balance, contrast, etc. have not been applied). You can use the RAW Develop feature to create a JPG copy for printing (Using the RAW Develop feature).
