Connecting with Wi-Fi Direct™
Your HERO 4.2 All-in-One Printer can be set up to host a Wi-Fi Direct network so you can connect mobile devices and computers* without using a router. With Wi-Fi Direct, your printer works as an access point so you can:
-
print from your mobile device using KODAK Pic Flick App.
-
print or scan from your computer with WINDOWS OS or MAC OS (with the necessary drivers installed).
-
access the Online Printer Management Tool.
IMPORTANT: | For best results, use your device within 30 m / 100 ft of your printer. Check that there are no obstructions between your device and printer. |
Wi-Fi Direct does not have Internet access. For full printer functionality,** connect your printer to your wireless network (see Connecting to a wireless network). Your printer can be connected to your wireless network and have Wi-Fi Direct enabled at the same time.
*You can connect up to four devices.
