2 Taking Pictures

1.
Turn the Mode dial to Still

Frame your subject. Use the viewfinder, or turn on Preview (Previewing Your Picture on the LCD) and use the LCD screen.

3.
Press the Shutter button half-way to set the exposure.

|||
|
4.
Continue pressing the Shutter button completely down to take the picture.
The viewfinder light blinks green while the picture is being saved. The viewfinder light blinks yellow when the flash is recharging. If necessary, wait for the flash to charge before taking the next picture. |

|
CAUTION: Do not insert or remove a Picture Card when the green viewfinder light is blinking. Doing so may damage your pictures, Picture Card, or camera. |
