Placing the Date on Pictures
Use the Date Stamp setting to imprint the date on your pictures.
This setting is ideal when you wish to record when a picture was taken; for example, for a birthday or an insurance claim.

Turn the Mode dial to Still , then press the Menu button.

Highlight the Date Stamp menu , then press the Select button.

Highlight the date stamp option you wish to use:
Highlight one of the date formats to turn Date Stamp on (the example date is October 15, 2001):

Press Select.

Press the Menu button to turn off the menu screen.
|
The current date will now be printed in the bottom right corner of pictures you take while Date Stamp is on.
This setting remains until you change it.
