Automatic Powerdown Saves Batteries

The automatic powerdown feature helps extend battery life by turning off the camera when it has been inactive (no buttons pushed and no pictures taken) for the given time period. For details on the Power Save feature, see Selecting a Power Save Setting.

Automatic Powerdown	Activated after	Camera Behavior	To reactivate camera
Power Save off	5 minutes	All camera circuits turn off. The lens cover remains open, with the lens retracted.	Turn the power switch off, then back on.
