3 Taking Videos
Setting Video Length
You can specify a time limit for the videos you take. The Video Length setting is useful if you wish to conserve space in the camera's internal memory or on a Picture Card, or if you want all of your videos to be the same length.

1.
Turn the Mode dial to Video
, then press the Menu button. |

2.
Highlight the Video Length menu
, then press the Select button. |

|
3.
Highlight the setting you want to use.

|
4.
Press Select.
|
|||||
|
5.
Press the Menu button to turn off the menu screen.
This setting remains until you change it. |

| NOTE: | If the current storage location does not have enough space to record for the specified time, the viewfinder light turns red when you turn off the menu screen. A memory full message appears if you attempt to take a video. See Picture/Video Storage Capacities for how many seconds of video you can store in the camera's internal memory or on Picture Cards. |
