6 Customizing Your Camera Settings
Turning On Liveview in Still Modes
The Liveview feature lets you use the LCD as a viewfinder (see Liveview—Using the LCD to Frame Your Subject). The default setting is Off; press the OK button to turn the LCD on when you need it.
NOTE: | Liveview quickly depletes battery power; use it sparingly. The Liveview default setting is On in Video and Close-up modes. |

Press the Menu button.

Move the joystick

Move the joystick to highlight Liveview

Highlight On, then press the OK button.
The live image is displayed whenever the camera is on. Press the OK button to manually turn it off and on. |

Press the Menu button to exit the menu.
This setting remains until you change it. |
