  1. Thread the lens cap string through the loop in the wrist strap as shown.

  2. Put the lens cap on the lens. Depress the tabs on the lens cap, fit the cap on the lens, and release the tabs.

To protect the lens, put the lens cap on whenever you are not taking pictures.
