Troubleshooting—Camera Dock 6000

Problem Cause Solution

Cannot transfer pictures to the computer.

Software is not installed.

Disconnect USB cable and remove camera from dock. Install EasyShare software (Install the Software).

Software is installed incorrectly.

Disconnect the USB cable and remove camera from dock. Close all open applications. Uninstall, then re-install the software (Install the Software). To uninstall, go to Start/Settings/ Control Panel/Add/Remove Programs.

USB cable was connected during software installation. Camera is listed as an unknown device (PC only).

Disconnect the USB cable and remove camera from dock.

Delete camera from Device Manager: Right-click on My Computer, go to Properties/ Hardware/Device Manager/Other Devices/ (delete this entry— ?Kodak ES camera)

AC adapter or USB cable is not securely connected.

Check the connections (Connecting the Camera Dock 6000).

Too many applications running on computer.

Close all software applications and try again.

Camera was removed from the camera dock during picture transfer.

Replace the camera on the camera dock and press the Transfer button.

Transfer button was not pressed.

Press the Transfer button.
