5 Care and Maintenance

Clearing a Paper Jam

			If a paper jam occurs, the Paper light blinks red (see Indicator Lights and Buttons). CAUTION: Do not use force when removing a paper jam.

		1. Remove the paper tray.
		2. Disconnect the power cord, wait 5 seconds, then plug it back in. NOTE: The printer will reset and eject the paper. If the paper does not eject, try to remove it manually.
		3. Replace the paper tray.
		4. Press the Print button on the printer to resume printing.
