1 Getting started

Turning the camera on and off

		To turn the camera on: Press the On/Off button. The "Date and time have been reset" message appears the first time you turn on the camera.
		To turn the camera off: Press the On/Off button. The camera completes the operations that are in process and turns off.

NOTE:

The lens retracts if it encounters an obstruction when you turn on the camera. Make sure the lens is unobstructed and press the On/Off button again.
