4 Doing more with your camera

Adjusting exposure compensation

Use exposure compensation to make pictures lighter or darker.

1. In Auto mode, press .

   Exposure compensation information appears on the LCD or EVF. (To change exposure compensation in P, A, S, and M modes, see P, A, S, and M modes.)
   
   

2. To make pictures lighter, press . To make pictures darker, press .

   The setting remains until you change it or turn off the camera.
