Using the Flash
When you take pictures at night, indoors, or outdoors in heavy shadows, your pictures need flash. The camera flash is effective when you are 2.5 to 7.5 feet (0.75 to 2.3 m) from your subject.

Press the button repeatedly to scroll through the flash options. |

The flash icon that is displayed on the LCD Status Bar (Status Bar Icons) is the active option. |

NOTE: | All flash options revert to Auto when the camera is turned off, except Red-eye. |
