Putting Yourself in the Picture

The Self Timer creates a 10-second delay between the time you press the Shutter button and the time the picture is taken. This setting is ideal when you want to include yourself in the picture.

		1. Press the Self Timer button. To cancel the Self Timer, press the Self Timer button again.
2. Place the camera on a flat, steady surface or use a tripod.
3. Compose the picture, then press the Shutter button. The Self Timer light, located on the front of the camera, turns on for 8-seconds, then blinks for 2 additional seconds before the picture is taken.

The Self Timer is turned off when you turn off the camera or change the position of the Mode dial.
