2 Taking Pictures

Using the Digital Zoom

The Digital Zoom provides up to 3X magnification of your pictures. You may notice a decrease in printed image quality when using Digital Zoom.

1. Turn the Mode dial to Still

. Use the LCD to frame your subject.

2. Move the joystick

to begin zooming.

Keep the button pressed for continuous magnification, or release it at any point.

The LCD displays the zoomed image and the magnification level.

3. Press the shutter button.

4. Move the joystick

to zoom out and to turn off Digital Zoom.

NOTE:

Digital Zoom is automatically turned off when the Mode dial is changed, the camera is turned off, or when the camera enters Sleep mode.
