Setting Video Length

You can specify a recording time limit. Use the Video Length setting to conserve space or to set all videos to the same length.

  1. Turn the Mode dial to Video , then press the Menu button.

  2. Highlight Video Length , then press the Select button.

  3. Highlight an option:

Unlimited (default)—records until you stop recording or until the current storage location is full.

5, 15, or 30 Seconds—records for the specified time or until the current storage location is full.

  4. Press the Select button.

  5. Press the Menu button to turn off the menu.

This setting remains until you change it.

NOTE: If the current storage location does not have enough space to record for the specified time, the ready light turns red when you turn off the menu. A memory full message appears if you attempt to take a video. See File Storage Capacities for video storage capacities.
