The camera does not turn on

• Remove, then reinsert the battery (Charging the battery).

• Recharge the battery (Charging the battery).

• Place the camera on a Kodak EasyShare camera or printer dock (sold separately), then try again.

• Connect the camera to a Kodak 5-volt AC adapter (sold separately), then try again.

The camera does not turn off and the lens does not retract

Camera buttons and controls do not function

The camera screen does not turn on

• In any capture mode, press the OK button.

• Turn the camera off, then on again.

In Review, a blue or black screen is displayed instead of a picture

• Transfer the picture or all pictures to the computer (Transferring pictures and videos with the USB cable). Format the internal memory or card after transfer ().

The pictures remaining number does not decrease after taking a picture

• Continue taking pictures. The camera is operating normally.

You cannot take a picture or video

• Turn the camera off, then on again.

• Battery is exhausted. Recharge the battery or insert a new one (Charging the battery).

• Wait until the ready light is green before attempting to take another picture.

• Transfer pictures to the computer (Transferring pictures and videos with the USB cable), delete pictures from the camera (Deleting pictures and videos), switch image storage locations (), or insert a card with available memory (Storing pictures and videos on an SD/MMC card).

Picture orientation is not accurate

• Set the Orientation Sensor ().

Flash does not fire

• Check flash setting, and change as needed (Using the flash).

Battery life is short

• Recharge the battery fully or insert a new one (Charging the battery).

Camera displays an error code

• Press the Shutter button all the way (Taking a picture).
