If...

Try one or more of the following

Mode dial light does not turn on and the camera does not work

• Turn on the camera (Turning on the camera).

• Recharge the battery or install a new one (Charging the battery).

  Camera may have turned off automatically. Turn on the camera and change the auto power-off setting (see Customizing your camera).

Mode dial light blinks

• Picture is being processed and saved to the camera. Camera is operating normally.

• Camera is connected. Camera is operating normally.

• Recharge the battery or install a new one (Charging the battery).

Mode dial light glows steady

• Shutter button is pressed halfway down. Focus and exposure are set. Camera is operating normally.

• Camera is operating normally.
