3 Reviewing Your Pictures

Copying Pictures

The Copy feature allows you to copy pictures between a Picture Card and the camera's internal memory. You can capture pictures on a Picture Card, then copy and save your favorites into internal memory.

Or, you may wish to copy pictures to a Picture Card for portability: for viewing on a different computer, or for printing at your local photo retailer.

Before You Copy

Before you copy files, make sure that:

Copying Pictures

  1. Turn the Mode dial to Review and press the Menu button.

  2. Highlight the Copy menu , then press the Select button.


  3. Highlight the Copy option you wish to use:

PICTURE—copies the current picture.

EXIT—returns you to the Copy screen.

ALL—copies all of the pictures from your selected storage location to the other location.

  4. Press the Select button.

A progress bar monitors the copy process, then disappears when the pictures are copied. For information on picture numbering after a copy, see File Naming Conventions After a Copy.

NOTE: Pictures are copied, not moved. If you wish to remove the pictures from the original location after they are copied, delete them manually (see Deleting Pictures).
