Viewfinder light blinks red. |

See LCD screen message. |

Viewfinder light glows steady red. |
Card is full. |
Transfer pictures to your computer (Transferring Your Pictures), delete pictures from the card (Deleting Pictures), or insert a card with available memory. |

No card in camera. |
Insert a card with available memory. |
|
|
Viewfinder light blinks yellow. |
Insufficient buffer memory. |
Wait. Resume picture taking when the light goes off. |
|
Viewfinder light blinks green. |
Auto-exposure or auto-focus is not locked. |
Release the Shutter button and recompose the picture. |

The camera cannot read the picture format. |
Transfer the unreadable picture to the computer (Transferring Your Pictures), or delete the picture (Deleting Pictures). |

A camera error has occurred. |
Turn the camera off, then back on. If the error message is still displayed, call for service (Telephone Customer Support). |

Memory Card is full |
There is no more space on the card. |
Delete pictures (Deleting Pictures) or insert a new card. |
|
Date/Time entry screen appears automatically |
This is the first time you turned on the camera; batteries have been removed for an extended time; or the batteries are exhausted. |
Reset the clock (Setting the Clock). |
