KODAK OLED Wireless Frame — Extended user guide

Upgrade firmware - load the latest version of firmware on your frame (Upgrading your firmware (recommended)).

Exit - return to the Home screen.

Slide duration - specify how long each picture is displayed in a slide show, from 3 seconds to 5 minutes. (The default is 5 seconds.)

Transitions - specify the transition style between pictures in a slide show. See screen for options. The default is Random.

Shuffle - plays the images in random order.

Slide show starting point - when pictures are sorted from oldest to newest (see Arranging pictures to play by date or filename), specify where a slide show starts automatically (your most recent week of pictures, or from oldest picture).

Brightness - your frame automatically adjusts the screen brightness for room conditions (default). To turn off auto-adjust, click Disable; slide to manually adjust the screen brightness.

Frame orientation - display your frame in landscape (default) or portrait orientation.

Screen Fit or Fill -

Fit entire image (default). Show the entire picture. Black borders may appear around the image. Fill the screen

.The picture fills the entire screen; some of the picture may be cut off (cropped).

Audio preset - specify the type of music you usually play. The audio output is optimized (equalized) for that type. The default is Standard.

Music auto-play - choose to play music automatically during a slide show. (Music files must be in the same location as your pictures.)

Audio priority - when you are playing music (Playing music), choose whether or not to play the audio portion of a video. Play music (default). Music continues to play, video plays but its audio is muted. Play video sound track. Music stops playing while the video, with audio, plays.

KODAK PERFECT TOUCH - automatically enhances your pictures to look their best on your frame. The default is On.

KODAK logo - set the lighted Kodak logo on the front of the frame. Keep on (default). The logo stays on whenever the frame is on. Fade away. The logo turns off after start up (takes effect the next time you turn off/turn on your frame).

On/Off schedule - set your frame to turn on and off at a specified time every day (Setting automatic on/off).

Set time - manually set the clock to the current time (Manually setting the clock).

Frame name - use the on-screen keyboard to assign a name to your frame. This name is referenced when connecting to your wireless network. If you have more than one frame on your wireless network, give them unique names so you can tell them apart.

USB connection mode - before you connect a USB computer or printer, choose Computer (default) or Printer. See Manually changing USB connection mode.

RSS feeds - a list of feeds you set up to view on your frame using the EASYSHARE Digital Display Software. Edit RSS feeds from your computer using the software. See Previewing, editing, and deleting feeds.

Frame connections - choose how your frame works with other devices. Share frame content: choose to turn off or allow devices (such as computers or other wireless frames) to access your frame contents; Remote setup: specify whether or not to allow your frame to be set up from your computer; Remote copy: turn off or allow copying to your frame from your computer; Remote copy destination: specify a default destination on your frame (internal memory, SD card, etc.) to save your copied pictures.
